Sustainability

We act responsibly

As the global market leader for high-quality stamps, we see it as our duty to lead the way in environmental protection and sustainability to take our responsibility seriously.

One example of how we hav long understood sustainability within the company is our climate-compensated core range, which has been awarded the Blue Angel and the Austrian eco-label.

By reducing the size and weight of our products, using the highest technically possible proportion of recycled plastic and using renewable energy, we have been able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions per unit.

We offset the unavoidable GHG emissions through high-quality, Gold Standard-certified climate protection projects.

In our current Trodat Sustainability Report 2024, the measures and objectives of our sustainability management are presented in details. Below you can find a few highlights as examples.

Climate strategy and greenhouse gas reduction

  • In the first sustainability report (reporting year 2017) and in the update from 2022, we reported a 34% reduction in greenhouse gases in the period from 2010 to 2020.
  • Our declared goal for 2030 is to reduce GHG emissions by a further 21.3% complared to the base year 2023.

Sustainable procurement and circular economy

  • A central component of our strategy is the promotion of sustainable procurement practises.
  • In addition, we are increasingly focusing on the use of recycled materials and the promotion of the circular economy.

Employees and society

  • Our employees are one of the most important stakeholders and therefore the heart of our company.
  • We therefore continuously invest in their safety, health and training.
  • At the same time, we are committed to diversity and equal opportunities in order to promote an open-minded corporate culture.

Future developments and innovations

  • In the coming years, we will continue to invest in innovative solutions that improve our CO2 footprint.
